A couple years ago, my sweet grandmother passed away to join my grandpa. They had decided to clean out the whole house and hold a big auction for their belongings since our family is so large. While I was there, I saw a mirror that belonged to my grandma. The mirror was beautiful and I just had to take it home with me. I have been seeing so many things on Pinterest about making theses “paint stick mirrors” so I decided that I had to do that to my new mirror.
Off to the store. My local Lowes employees looked at me so strange when I asked them for 75 paint sticks and how much it would cost. They were so good that they just gave them to me and I was so excited to get started. This was so simple and I got it done in just a couple steps.
- I painted my frame on my mirror gold and all the sticks to match.
- With my hot glue gun, I glued the sticks all around the mirror
I love how this turned out. I hope you try it out and be sure to send me pictures so I can see!
Thanks for stopping by pretties.
