3 Thanksgiving Games for Kids

Hello Pretties!

This week I decided to come up with a few quick ideas to play with my little pretties. My girls are still so young that they don’t understand Thanksgiving quite yet. I hope this gives you some fun ideas to help your little ones enjoy this holiday, because it is my favorite time of year. I think playing these games at our house this week made my girls so excited for Thanksgiving.

Where did the Turkey go??

The first game I cut out a little turkey and hid it under a cup. I then mixed up the cups to see if they remembered what cup it was under. They loved this game and even had so much fun mixing it up for each other.

Thankful Turkey Cake-walk

I did a traditional cake-walk for this one. I printed big pictures of turkeys and had them walk on them in a circle, then when the music stopped they would stop on a turkey. Whoever was on the turkey that I drew out had to say something that they were thankful for. I was so shocked by how much my kids loved this! When it was their “turkey” they were so excited to say something that they were thankful for. It was so sweet and so funny to see the things they came up with.

Macarena!!

I know that this one has nothing to do with Thanksgiving, but it was so fun teaching them this. My little girl loves dancing and she loves when she is part of a dance. I think that on Thanksgiving while you’re waiting for the turkey to finish cooking this would be so fun to do with the kids, and it’s such a simple dance.

Be sure to check out my video of us playing theses games at my house. We had a blast. What games do you like to play?? Also do you have any fun Thanksgiving tradiotions we can start at my house too?
