Yes, I know the title sounds a little brutal but this is real life. I grew up with a dairy farmer dad who had started a little farm at our house. One year we decided to change it up a little bit from steers and get lambs. We had lots of cute little lambs and I instantly fell in love with them. I even picked out my own lamb that was all white and I named her “Angel.” I loved her and I would pick her up and carry her all the time.
One day I remember going outside to visit my sweet little lamb and as I walked to the barn I looked on the ground and I could see little tails that had fallen off of the lambs all over everywhere. I was so sad. I felt horrible for these lambs and I was so mad that my dad had done this. I knew he was putting rubber bands on their tails but I had no idea that it would do that.
Todays post is a special post and a blast from the past. I thought that I would introduce to you my husband Caden in honor of Valentines. Most of you know him and some of you have probably never heard about him. I hope you enjoy this post and I love sharing with you a sneak peak into our lives.
I love Valentine’s Day!
Yes, I am one of those suckers who just can’t get enough of love. I decided to put together a list for you of things that I would love to get. I think if you just go ahead and forward this to your man then you (and him) will thank me later. I think this list is so great because you can pick a couple off of here and mix and match them. Also, I would love to know your dream Valentines gifts, so be sure to leave me a comment below.
1. Makeup (doesn’t have to be complicated)
Sometimes (and by that I mean all the time) in parenting, I feel like it is trial and error. I never realize I am doing things wrong until I do something right. I never realize I made terrible decisions till something goes horribly wrong. Here are 5 of my AHHHHA! moments in parenting.
Today I wanted to share with you this tutorial on how to get this easy, braided headband look. I really wanted to do this look for you because this look reminds me of a sweet romantic hairstyle for Valentines Day or even a nice date night. This tutorial was created in two different ways, one is with my hair long and my “Halo Couture” extensions in. Fast forward towards the end and I created it again with my short hair, for those who have shorter to medium length hair. Remember you don’t always have to have crazy long thick hair to achieve these looks. I love how it turned out with shorter hair as well.
