I’ve been repurchasing a lot of my favorite products lately so I decided I would share an “empties” post. If you’re not familiar with an empties post, this is a post of the products that I have enjoyed so much that I buy it again and again. These items will also make great stocking stuffers, so send a *subtle* hint by shooting this link to your significant other (or mom, because I don’t trust my husband to buy the right thing). Also, I am always wanting to try new products so let me know what your favorite empties are that have you running to the store to buy some more.

Kenra Professional Volume Spray 25

I always have people think it is crazy to splurge on hairspray, even my mom was not on board at first. I am here to tell you I have converted her, and I think it’s so worth it to spend the money. Here are some reasons I am a believer. Number one, it lasts me forever. This will seriously last me like three months, four months, five months. I can go a long time with this hairspray. Number two, I feel like you barely need to use any. When you have a hairspray this strong and works this good you only have to spray a few little pieces and it’ll go a long way. This hairspray also lasts all day long. I could go on and on and on about this hairspray and even come up with 100 more reasons why you should get it. I mean, it even SMELLS incredible (well, for hairspray). I also love how it’s not foggy. I am always stocked up on this and always have a backup or two. 

It’s a 10 Leave in Conditioner

The next one is an old lover of mine and I have been using this product since beauty school. This leave in conditioner is such a miracle worker, I have tried to stray away from this and I always come back to it. I love it especially for blondes because it really puts the moisture back in your hair. I mainly focus on spraying this on my ends because it works so well at keeping my ends protected and keeps them from breaking. I recently re-purchased a bigger bottle of this since I love putting this in my girls’ hair as well. This is very light weight won’t leave your hair greasy.

Soap and Glory Face Wash

I finally decided to purchase a big bottle of this soap and glory face wash. I’ve been using a tiny little sample and I have been obsessed with it, so I purchased the big mama. I love this face wash because it really doesn’t dry out my face and it’s very gentle. A little bit goes a long way and it’s a very affordable price. In the picture, I have a pump on it, but it doesn’t come with the pump. I actually took the pump off of my bath and body soap and added it to the bottle because I think it needs a pump. I also like how soft it leaves my skin and it removes my makeup very well. It’s just a great overall face wash and works really well at cleaning out your skin. My skin always feels so great after I use this and the fact that it contains Vitamin C is a plus. 

Moroccan Oil

This next one has been my little best friend for a long time as well. I have used so many different oils and nothing compares to this one.  It works for literally every different hair type. If you have frizzy hair it will help smooth your hair out. The best thing is it’s so lightweight and you barely need a “pea” size. I use this product so much on my hair. I grab a little bit and put it on my wet hair first, which will help my hair dry faster and also make my hair really smooth when I blow dry.  Then I put a tiny bit on my hands and run my fingers through my hair on each layer when I straighten it. Another way I use it is after I’m done curling my whole head, I will go back through and us my fingers to brush out my curls with some oil on my hands. The oil will make your curls look smooth and shiny. Lastly, I feel that if you have hair extensions this is a must! You aren’t getting the natural oils from your head on your extensions. This oil is a life saver to bring some life to the extensions by nourishing them and helping them blend into your natural hair.This is probably my most used product. 

Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Tri-Wheat Leave In Conditioner

OK I know I am a leave-in conditioner slut but I also use another one on my hair. This one I feel like you have to use it with winter months especially. It is the cure to static hair. Say goodbye to tangles because it is also a miracle worker for detangling. I have gotten lots of knots out of little girls hair with this. I can’t even tell you how many moms thought I was a miracle worker at the salon because I saved their little girl’s hair, it wasn’t me, it was this conditioner. So there you have it, my biggest secret revealed. My little girls’ hair is so thin and fine that I love using it on them because it’s so extremely lightweight and won’t cause build up.  It also smells like the beach which my clients love. I like to buy it in a really big jug and refill my smaller bottle.

ColorProof Dry Spell Color Protect Dry Shampoo

Can we talk about this dry shampoo?? It’s kind of pricey, but it has been my favorite dry shampoo of all time. I love this dry shampoo because it smells so good, it’s like perfume for your hair (I promise I don’t judge everything by their smell). It feels good on your hair and doesn’t leave it feeling like there is lots of build up. Sometimes I even like to spray this when my hair is clean just to get some volume and some texture. This is my diehard.

Kenra Professional Platinum Blow-Dry Spray

I have tried so hard not to re-purchase this one because this is another one of those pricey items. Every time I don’t use it I noticed that I need it in my life. This product works so good for getting your hair to dry faster (cuts my time in half). My number one reason I love this product is to protect hair from heat. I have struggled trying to find a thermal protectant spray that doesn’t leave a residue on my client’s hair. I love the smell of this so much (again with the smell). My clients are always freaking out and wondering what this amazing smell is. This is another product I use for my girls because their hair is so fine and so fragile and it’s virgin hair so I want to protect it and add some great shine. I’m telling you, when I worked at Dollar Cuts back in the day I sold this product like hotcakes because it is that good. I guarantee you’ll love it. This product will last you a while because you only need to apply it once when your hair is damp from washing. 

Pixi By Petra Glow Tonic

OK so this product I was very unsure and hesitant about. So many people are talking about it and I didn’t get what it was. I decided to try it out and  see if I liked it. I didn’t think that it was really making a difference but then I ran out of product and  stopped using it and I noticed a HUGE difference in my skin. I had no idea that this was doing so much for my skin until I stopped using it, so I had to run and repurchase this because it really does make my face glow. I don’t know how to explain it, but it works really well. I could feel it helping my acne and noticed that it would take the redness out of my zits, and clean them out. I also feel like it would tighten my skin. I don’t know if it claims to tighten skin but I felt like it did. My skin looks fresher and my pores are a little bit smaller. It really is a miracle worker.

Beautyblender Brush Cleaner 

In my profession, I do a lot of makeup on a lot of different women. I don’t like germs nor do I like dirty brushes. I also don’t want to be reliable for transferring any type of germ to other girls. I have finally found a cleaner that I really like. This beauty blender and brush cleaner really cleans and sanitizes my brushes very well. It’s so easy to use because you open it and there is a bar of soap inside and a pink scrubber pad. All you do is get your brush wet and swirl it in the soap then scrub it on the pink scrubber. It cleans the brushes out and at leaves them nice and soft. You will be amazed with how much product comes out of your brushes, the water is so gross. This soap is gentle on my tools as well and doesn’t damage them. I even feel like they go right back to how I bought them, in like-new condition. You would be surprised with how many germs and bacteria grow on your brushes and you most certainly don’t want to put that on your skin. It’s a pain in the butt to do, but it’s a must and you will thank me for it later.

Carmex

Last but not least, this product is not forgotten and it will never be forgotten. My friends are probably laughing that I put this product in because I have been using Carmex probably since the second grade. My husband even bought me a case of these for my birthday one year and I have one everywhere in my house, purse, and car.  I am a Carmex addict!!  It always helps my lips feel good. I actually put it on every single night before I go to bed and I wake up with it still on my lips. It’s excellent. My lips are always chapped and I’m constantly getting cold sores. A little bit of Carmex helps my cold sores feel a bit better. Carmex and I are, and always will be, BFF’s.
